The “Coach” Karl DeMasi has been teaching and coaching for the past 35 years on all levels of academia and athletics. One of his hobbies has been writing, announcing and talking about sports. DeMasi has been involved in the Savannah Area sports scene since 1995, and he created the high school magazine “The Prep Sports Report” in 2000. In 2010, the “Coach” started broadcasting The Karl DeMasi Sports Report. The show can be heard “LIVE” every Saturday from 9 AM until 11 AM live. Traivon Bass-Black, 6’0 senior running back, Windsor Forest High School
Bass-Black in back to back, games against Bryan County ( 22 caries 185 yards) and Long County (21carries - 113 yards) ran for 298 yards and scored seven touchdowns. Traivon's goal this season is to top his accomplishments as a junior and be the player of the year.
Furthermore, Last year as a junior Traivon was an All-Region 3-3A first-team pick and a Savannah Morning News 2016 All-Greater Savannah Football Offensive 1st team running back. Bass-Black rushed for 1,340 yards and eight scores in 10 games. He averaged over 90 yards per game highlighted by a 248-yard game against Groves.
That’s why Traivon was the Wetherington Chiropractic Clinic Athlete of the Week for September 23. 2017.
