The “Coach” Karl DeMasi has been teaching and coaching for the past 35 years on all levels of academia and athletics. One of his hobbies has been writing, announcing and talking about sports. DeMasi has been involved in the Savannah Area sports scene since 1995, and he created the high school magazine “The Prep Sports Report” in 2000. In 2010, the “Coach” started broadcasting The Karl DeMasi Sports Report. The show can be heard “LIVE” every Saturday from 9 AM until 11 AM live. Anna Bloess - ESA Georgia Surf District, Savannah, GA - Surfing
Anna, 15, finished first, at the 50th anniversary edition of the Eastern Surfing Association’s Eastern Championships at Nags Head, N.C. The surfing event was held September 17-23, 2017
Bloess won the Eastern champion in Girls Under-16 shortboard division. Furthermore, Anna tied for fifth in the Junior Women Shortboard U-18 division and finished fifth in the Junior Women Longboard U-18 divison.
