The “Coach” Karl DeMasi has been teaching and coaching for the past 35 years on all levels of academia and athletics. One of his hobbies has been writing, announcing and talking about sports. DeMasi has been involved in the Savannah Area sports scene since 1995, and he created the high school magazine “The Prep Sports Report” in 2000. In 2010, the “Coach” started broadcasting The Karl DeMasi Sports Report. The show can be heard “LIVE” every Saturday from 9 AM until 11 AM live. Ijeoma Odimgbe senior Center Sol C. Johnson High School
The skinny on IJeoma also known as EJ by her friends and teammates at Johnson High School is that she is ranked as the 19th best prep female basketball player in the USA at forward according to ESPN HoopGurlz.com and she has only been playing basketball since 9th grade. What is amazing Odimgbe signed a national letter of intent on November 11th to play Division I basketball next year at the University of Oklahoma.
This season Odimgbe is leading the Lady Atomsmahers on the court. EJ is averaging a double double on the season. She is scoring 13 points per game and grabbing 12 rebounds per game. Besides the unbelievable statistics, being 6'4, she changes the opponent's shots when they drive to the basket and is averaging 6 block shots per game.
