The “Coach” Karl DeMasi has been teaching and coaching for the past 35 years on all levels of academia and athletics. One of his hobbies has been writing, announcing and talking about sports. DeMasi has been involved in the Savannah Area sports scene since 1995, and he created the high school magazine “The Prep Sports Report” in 2000. In 2010, the “Coach” started broadcasting The Karl DeMasi Sports Report. The show can be heard “LIVE” every Saturday from 9 AM until 11 AM live. Dezmond Brinson senior - Savannah High School - Football
In a victory over Groves High School on September 19th, Dezmond had a hot hand in the first quarter. Brinson finished the first quarter 8 of 12 passing for 102 yards and two scores. Before the half was over Dezmond would add 63 more yards, and another scored rushing on the ground in the opening half. Brinson's total at the conclusion of the game was 14 of 20 passing with 166 yards, three touchdown tosses, rushed for 101 yards on just six carries with a touchdown.
Dezmond also excels in the classroom. Earlier in the year, he made a verbal commitment to play football at one of the top Ivy League Schools in the U.S.A., Cornell Unversity. So, as you can see this young man excels on the gridiron but most of all in the classroom. Congratulations Dezmond on a job well done.
