The “Coach” Karl DeMasi has been teaching and coaching for the past 35 years on all levels of academia and athletics. One of his hobbies has been writing, announcing and talking about sports. DeMasi has been involved in the Savannah Area sports scene since 1995, and he created the high school magazine “The Prep Sports Report” in 2000. In 2010, the “Coach” started broadcasting The Karl DeMasi Sports Report. The show can be heard “LIVE” every Saturday from 9 AM until 11 AM live. Benedictine has rolled in all phases of the game this season and their blue collar work ethic has paided off. The Cadet defense has allowed less than 8 points per game, while a balanced offense attack has put up 44 points per contest. The championship March is still on as the Cadets travel to the Georgia Dome this Saturday at 1 pm to take on the Purple Hurricane of Fitzgerald High School.
Benedicitne's quest for a second state title in the last three years is in their grasp and Head Caoch Deanny Britt reflects on the season and gives his outlook on Saturday's championship game.
